Shades of Lavendr: Meet Our Team

Hello, we’re Lavendr!

We create campaigns that educate, inspire, and influence action. We’re a tight knit team of people who come together daily to do our best work for clients we’re proud to work with.

When you work with us, you’re collaborating with a creative think tank supporting health, education, and community-driven organizations. You’re connecting with a small group of people who know no limits. We feel great about what we get to do, and want you to feel the same.

Let’s meet the team.

Val Rodriguez (They/She).

Growth Manager

We’ve been very lucky to even need a growth manager, and we’re even luckier that Val found their way to Lavendr! Val is taking the lead on maintaining existing client relationships as well as creating new and lasting ones.

Val is implementing a more hands on consulting approach throughout the client experience and ensuring we’re thinking strategically about making deliverables impactful and helpful. Through challenging the standard we set in terms of open conversation, Val is excited to spark innovation and growth for the team, our roles, and the work we create. So, cheers to Val and all the growth they’re about to manage!

Evan Pierce (He/Him)

Cinematographer + Photographer

Evan brings creative ideas into reality through visual mediums. It’s very important to him to make sure all ideas are heard and taken into account on a project and that egotism is avoided with decision making to create the best projects possible. He believes that our encouragement of individualism has helped us all be more comfortable sharing ideas and has made collaboration easier!

We’re grateful to Evan for all the ways he’s empowered us to put out our best work, and for being a great embodiment of our mission to support and empower creatives themselves.

Gabby O’Keefe (She/Her)

Project Lead

As a project lead, Gabby is our account manager, project manager, and producer. This gives her both a bird’s eye view of all productivity while simultaneously participating in getting the actual work accomplished. She’s a talented communicator, organizer, and leader, but Gabby’s greatest attributes lie in her efforts to be supportive of us all. She remains flexible to fill in the gaps and is steadfast with her honesty about what can make Lavendr work better and be better.

Gabby emphasizes our team’s care for her not only as an employee but as a human. Not because it benefits the company - and it surely does - but because it’s genuinely important. We’re not just coworkers and teammates. We’re genuine friends who push each other to excel professionally and personally.

Noah Brooks (He/Him)

Director of Business

Noah has been here from the jump, and plays a major role in leading the team well by creating a healthy work-life balance for employees, and ensuring we’re living up to our promises to clients and to ourselves. While Noah isn’t one of the teams’ creatives, he’s driven to support creatives and the gig economy that most of them navigate. To him, creativity is really what makes the world go ‘round.

With this in mind, Noah is proud of Lavendr’s efforts in building a strong internal culture that is meant to retain as many team members as possible. Noah’s leadership at Lavendr is honest and humble enough to admit that when next steps aren’t clear, he’ll take it to the team and ask what we need. The culture Noah has created, that embraces and supports democracy, is truly what has made our team so special.

Joshua Romero (He/Him)

Creative Director

Joshua started as a guerilla freelance filmmaker, and somewhere along the way, found himself as the creative director of an ad agency that gets to work on major campaigns representing incredible organizations. While the goal was always to move onwards and upwards, Joshua often finds himself in awe of just how far he, and our whole team, have taken our passion for creative storytelling.

As Creative Director, Joshua feels that his greatest contribution is creating a space where everyone can work in any way they need to, and where we can do our best work for projects we’re passionate about. While there are many examples from Lavendr’s portfolio that Joshua could highlight as points of pride, the fact that Lavendr gets to do meaningful work and has a quality team to do it with is what makes him proud.

Now that our introductions are out of the way, we’d love to hand it over to you. Let’s get to know you, and how we can come together to educate, inspire, and influence your audiences.

We’re happy to announce that complimentary 30-minute office hours are now available to existing and potential clients to discuss marketing and to simply talk shop.

Get connected with us by scheduling an appointment and learn more about what Lavendr can do with you!
